Perhaps it’s not just the economy. Could it also be that self-publishing is changing the face of the publishing industry? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we writers will keep writing. If we can’t get a major publishing company to buy our books, at least we can take comfort in marketing our books ourselves through the ebook industry. At least that’s my plan!
