My little 2nd grade friend, Mahala, in Ohio, sent “Flat Mahala” to me to spend a week. Here is a video of our adventures. (See the children’s book, “Flat Stanley” )
One of my dreams is to write children’s books that inspire imagination. Books were a huge part of my childhood. Some of my happiest memories were the times I spent between the covers of a book.

This is a pretty cool way of keeping track of your books. I already use GoodReads, but this site has a few more interesting features. I like the “library” concept because as you know, I obsess over libraries.

As an author, it makes me wonder what this is doing to the publishing industry. Which makes it even more important to write what is relevant, and what is outstanding. Mediocre will not be published in a recession! Those bargain book tables? Those kinds of books are on their way OUT.
